As of late March, Byford families have had a new place to play, meet and connect with the opening of The Ridge Park and Playground. Spanning over 1.7 hectares, The Ridge Park is part of Byford on the Scarp and caters for everyone from young children to grandparents.
There is plenty to explore with the adventure and nature playground, and with a range of banquet seating and dedicated picnic areas available, there really is something for the whole family to enjoy. Families can even add finishing touches to their picnic lunch from the edible garden which contains flowers, seeds, plants and herbs.
In future stages, there will also be a BMX and scooter track added to the park which is sure to be hit among the kids.
Located on Clondyke Drive near the entrance to Byford on the Scarp, The Ridge Park and Playground provides park front views for many blocks and some existing homes within the estate.
The Ridge Park and Playground is an exciting and unique addition to Byford on the Scarp and will hopefully become a destination for the community. So pack your picnic lunch and come and check out The Ridge Park and Playground with the family this weekend and make a day of it!
