Dog owners and their four-legged friends in Byford have welcomed the opening of the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale’s new dedicated dog park, named Byford Bark Park.
“Since the new dog park was opened to the public last November, it has been extremely popular and well utilised by our local community,” says Shire President Michelle Rich.
The $468,000 park was funded entirely by developer contributions and features two fenced off sections, one for small dogs and one for large dogs, with shade, seating and agility equipment. The community celebrated the official opening with a Paws in the Park event on Friday, 17 January 2020.
The Byford Bark Park is located on the corner of Larsen Road and Sansimeon Boulevard, Byford. Just a 6 minute drive from Byford on the Scarp!
